06/01/2011 - 33cl bottle @ home (2011-6)

Dark amber to copper red beer, towering off-white head, adhesive. Aroma: fruity, hops, apples. MF: nice carbon, medium body. Taste: some sweet malts, fruity, apples, cherries, some hops. Aftertaste: red berries, aplle and some hop. Not excitingly special, but not bad either!

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Oud Arsenaal) The beer poured mahogany red and almost clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma was fruity and mildy vineous. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, Belgian style yeastiness, fruitiness, spiciness, malts, mildly fennel, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. Beer with nothing extra but also nothing wrong - good aroma and taste.

UPDATED: JAN 30, 2012 33 cl bottle, pours clear amber with a huge white head, very good head retention, lots of carbonation, aroma of malt and yeast, taste is also malty and yeasty, somewhat weak finish, fairly boring overall.

Bottle, 33 cl, shared with Parket. Amber coloured beer, with beautiful white light unstable head. Aroma of light rotten hops, light skunky malts, spices and metallic. Taste is hoppy, light metallic, light sweet and malty and has a light bitter finish that keeps hanging in the mouth. Not exactly the best beer I drunk.

Parket (586) - Bruges, BELGIUM - NOV 15, 2010
bottle, light amber coloured with nice and foamy white head. Overripe fruits in the smell Taste: some sweetness, woody, yeasty. Not so special, with all respect but this one tasts a bit cheap but looks ok.
