An alright amber ale, definitely better than their more recent releases though. Lacking on the nose, but a nice sturdy flavour, very drinkable, not too complex. Pyobon (1531) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - AUG 19, 2013
(Bottle) Clear amber brown, no head. Very little aroma, faintly sweet with some damp cardboard notes. Medium body with pleasant gentle carbonation. Taste has a backbone of toffee / caramel sweetness. There’s some pleasant citrus / sherbet balancing flavours at the start, and maybe some nutty hints later. Not really my style of beer, a bit too soft and restrained; however it’s pleasant enough. Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours a dark amber/red, with thin head. Slight citrus aroma with a big malty sweetness. Taste is very similar, malt driven flavours. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Solid beer, nothing to write home about.

It was a nice beer and I enjoyed drinking this beverage but nothing really to report that stood out or made an impression. Solid beer would be happy to have more than a couple but think I would get bored. Nice maltyness almost trickle molasses flavour coming through other wise good but not great. jdpeebs (698) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - AUG 10, 2012
