Light hop aromas. A bit weak on the palate, with limited malts and only slight bitterness. Refreshing, but lacking flavour.

More like a lager than an ale. Has crisp taste. Got malt flavour but malty in first taste. Has a slight hoppy touch and sprite in mouthfeel. Weak finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: lagery with light malt Pale clear big foam head Flavour: lemon and a touch of malt reminiscent of a tequila slammer with a hint of beer aftertaste ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

First of all, its a low alcohol brew in green glass at a liquor store thats two years old. And it smells and tastes like it. This is just a basic bland beer. Absolutely nothing special about it. No idea why they went to all the trouble to label it this way, unless theyre trying to hoodwink folks. Smells skunky, taste has some of that, plus common bitter, some tang, some sweet, short lived. thats about it.

330mL bottle BB 03/01/14 Possibly off tap at one point..? Clean pale gold body, head dies off pretty quickly. Aroma somewhat stale - reminiscent of the typical "imported green bottle lager" stink you tend to get over here, ie, light struck. Some honeyed maltiness, some hop citrus, but hard to see past the skunk. Light body, somewhat watery, medium carbonation. Honeyed malt, touch of hop spice. Finishes somewhat abruptly, low bitterness, lingering light struck twang. English pale ale!? Since when? More like a poorly made lager

WTF? This tastes like mass-produced big brewery lager - that is: flavourless, neutral swill - and a mediocre one at that. But lacks the crispness of lager. Dull on the tongue and the senses. At least its only 4.2% which is a mercy. Yuk. A disgrace to Australian craft beer.

Smells & looks like a European Lager. Bright & clear with an excellent long lasting head. Tastes like one too, not my favourite style, but pleasant enough. If a little watery & dull. Would be OK on a hot day or after sport

Gold pour with thick white head. Aroma - nothing special - wet, grassy, slightly off note. Taste is like a generic pale lager only not as awful - a little sweet at first, nothing really stands out apart from grain and sweetness, then unpleasant sour, slightly metallic finish. Not great, just nothing very interesting

Poured a hazy golden amber colour with a few millimetres of white foamy head that diminished quickly and laced OK. Moderate carbonation with small bubbles forming trails. Aroma of grassy hops and a trace of malt. Taste initially mild sweetness followed by a sour but very faint hops bitterness. Light body. Although there is a slight hops bitterness finish it is not that hop driven for a Hops Vintage Beer.
