Clear amber color with light beige head. Aroma has earthy and resiny hop notes with caramelized malt and some sweet orange rind. Taste has yeast notes, some astringent fermentation notes, some woody bitterness on the finish. Medium body and carbonation. Balanced but quite yeasty.

UPDATED: NOV 17, 2017 Bouteille de 33cl. Bière avec une belle couleur ambrée et une belle mousse. Très agréable en bouche avec une belle amertume et des notes de cacao. Bref une belle découverte.

Honey. Dark fruit. Spice. Pours a dark orange/amber with tons of sediment. Long lasting off white foamy head. Leaves a thick coating on the glass. Fizzy. Earthy. Honey. Dark fruit. Grass. Earth. Light bodied. Crisp finish. Nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het heeft een medium witte schuimkraag. De geur is wat hoppig. De smaak is bitter, hoppig en wat kruidig.

RudiGR (100) - Dendermonde, BELGIUM - OCT 27, 2017
Ietwat bruin schuim, de reuk is fruitig en licht moutig. Het smaakt bitter en is wat droog in de afdronk. Het bittere gaat snel weg maar er blijft iets geroosterd hangen (de honing mischien)

Michael27 (2357) - Berlin, GERMANY - OCT 15, 2017
Aus der Flasche getrunken (Händlerlieferung). Dunkles Amber mit viel Schaum im Glas. Typische Trappistennase. Im Nachtrunk Malzdominanz.

330ml bottle from Silpo (thx, Vlad!). BB 2017-07-17. Pours a slightly hazy pale amber with a beige head. Aroma is flowery, caramel. Similar taste. Moderate to high carbonation. Quite pleasant Belgian Dubbel.

0.33l bottle thanks to Cristobal37. Clear orange body with an off white head and lots of floating sediment. Aroma of dark sugar, orange zest, toast and figs. Taste of dark sugar, orange zest, toast, doughy yeats and floral hops. A bit flat and thin, but very nice.
