Zilverenmaan (198) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - NOV 4, 2016

Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - OCT 27, 2016
Poured into a chalice, the appearance was a ruddy burnt brown color with a thin eggshell white foamy finger’s worth of head that quickly dissipated. Mild lacing. The aroma starts off with clean sweet Belgian bready/yeasty malts. Red delicious apples, subtle spice (far underneath) and some caramel to toffee malts. The flavor leans Belgian sweet. Apples do make a nice crisp sweet presence with the malts. Spices once again are far underneath. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Low carbonation yields a huge smooth malty backbone. Overall, nice Dubbel that I would have again.

Wow, never seen so many yeast sediments in a before. Taste is not bad, medium carbonation and sweet-sharpish finish.
