Bottle pours amber with foamy tan head. Floral, light fruit, cloves, lemon, pepper. Moderately sweet. Body is creamy with a bit of peppery finish.

toast, nutty/honey caramel, dried prunes; has a modest farmhouse-esque balsamico quality without the horse aromas you usually get from wild yeast; mineralic, cardamommy, nutmeggy, earthy finish leaning veeeery slightly to band-aidy, almost medicinal herbiness that works surprisingly well!

Flöska. Hazy deep dark brown colour, big light-brown head. Good lacing. Sweet aroma, toasty malty caramel with dark fruits. Good mouthfeel. Sweet flavour of dark malts, caarmel, dark fruits, some yeast, bit alcohol. Sweet malty alco pleasant finish.

It pours a cloudy bright orange color, with a thin layer of foam that stays there the entire time. It has a classic Belgian yeast smell and some citrus too. The taste is pretty much the same, some yeast and a bitter rush of citrus fruits. It is very heavy and the taste takes a long time to slide down your on the back of the tongue. It’s pretty good actually! But I still have to say that is probably won’t make it into my top 5 (maybe even top 7). But remember that the bar is set freakin’ high when it comes to trappist beers! Solid attempt.

Bottle from a Carrefour in Bruges. Pours hazy dark orange/light brown with a minimal beige head. The aroma contains caramel, roasted malt, herbs, clove and raisin. It tastes medium bitter and light sweet with a malty and herbal finish. Fizzy carbonation, slick texture, medium body. Nothing out of the ordinary. A bit modest like the Rochefort 6.

Satme en fin øl, klart i den belgiske stil, men man kan godt fornemme at den ikke er derfra. Rund dejlig og klart en smager værd. Skønno !!

JPDIPSO (6216) - Wauwatosa, USA - MAY 29, 2017
Hazed copper color, with a significant amount of fish food. Tall, stable head of taupe bubbles. Aromas of toasted biscuits, and spices of cardamom, cloves and wintergreen. Sweet start, with a yeasty backbrop. Dry finish, with some hops and earth. Hints of spice in the linger. 8/13

From 330ml bottle. Hazy golden amber with a thin beige head. Lively carbonation. Pleasantly malty with some hops bitterness toward the end. Medium, straightforward finish. Lingering burnt caramel and yeast notes.

330ml bottle. Malts and caramel, sugars and dried fruit, fairly smooth carbo. Not bad, not bad at all.

Licht ambergeel, snel zakkende crèmekleurige schuimkraag, weinig koolzuur., troebel en veel gist. Aroma: Zoetig, honing, koriander, banaan, Belgische gist, rood fruit, karamel.
