On tap at The Brass Tap for Tampa Bay Beer Week, poured a dark brown color with aromas of light molasses, nuts, caramel , and toffee. Flavors are the same but with an unique afteryaste. Interesting beer overall.

Chocolate and nut candy bar aroma with a little vanilla and sweet ethanol. Clear garnet under a thick, beige collar. Sweet nutty and chocolatey flavour with moderate bitterness, toasted hazelnut and red fruit notes. Medium body, slightly warming, moderate carbonation, kind of filling. Dark ruby color, small steady beige head. Nutty, sweetish, a bit berryish aroma. Medium-bodied. Caramel, light nuts, crisp, also berryish. Some alcohol to back up. Decent.
Pours a very dark brown with a quickly dissipating tan head. Dark roasted malt and some chocolate and cola notes. Dark roasted burnt notes with cola syrup flavors. Drinks similarly to a Belgian quad. Tap at brewery bar. Pours a chestnut colour with an off white head. Light choc hazelnut aroma. Light to medium body, full carbonation. Caramel, light milk choc, hazelnut, brown bread, a hint of lemon. Nice.
