I don?t even want to know the story behind Nut Sack Brown Ale because it is one tasty brown. No aroma to speak of but the color js a nice dark brown. Chocolate flavor with hint of coffee and whiskey shine through the overall rich flavor. Nut sack is something to savor. mlane76 (58) - Albany, Georgia, USA - NOV 20, 2014

Very smooth imperial brown that does my city proud. High ABV, but not really boozy.

Deep ruby-brown with a creamy tan head.
Roasty, brown/caramel malts, nutty aroma.
Cola, nut, chocolate/caramel malt flavour.
Very rich and robust...big maltiness and taste...mild husk bitter.

Pours translucent mahogany with a thin but decent light tan head. Aroma delivers caramel, toasted malt and toffee notes. Flavor presents chocolaty, caramel, toasted malt and toffee components. Mouthfeel is fairly firm and fizzy. Sack the nut! jsquire (4420) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - JAN 9, 2013
On tap at the brewpub. Dark beer with a thin beige head. Big thick sweet brown sugar nose. Lots of roasted malts, brown sugar and some caramel corn. Very nice beer. 50belair (3617) - Florida, USA - JUL 21, 2013
On tap at CCB. Brown pour with an off white head. Nutty aromas. Nutty, earthy notes, with lightly roasted malt back beats. I’m usually a little disappointed with brown ales but this is an exception. Easy drinking with a good mouthfeel and body. LilBeerDoctor (3903) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 31, 2014
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a dark brown with a thick white head. Aroma of roasted malt, maple, light coffee grounds, chocolate malt. Flavor of lots of roast, chocolate malt, mocha, and coffee grounds. Very tasty brown ale and the 8% is well hidden.
