This amber colored rye beer combines the citrus and floral character of a classic American IPA with the spicy earthy notes of a Rye ale. Hoppy but not too bitter and just enough spice to give you a little “how’s your father?”

Pours a nice dark reddish amber color. Aromas of rye, light hops, and some other hints, maybe fruit, maybe caramel. Flavor is a bittersweet, malty, and hoppy with a nice dry finish.

Draft... Pours clear and deeply yellow with a mid-sized, fluffy white head. Fantastic retention. The aroma is grainy and a hint bready. Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lazy carbonation. The flavor offers mid-level metallic bitterness, accompanied by a lightly grainy component. Lengthy, moderately bitter, mildly dry finish.

On tap at Orchid Island Brewery. Copper pour wth a fluffy white head. Mild rye and pale malt aromas. The taste follows suit with some bland hoppy bitterness. Average body and mouthfeel.

Draft - Light spicy rye. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Bitter and some rye notes. Not great.

bottle @ Engine 15 / Jacksonville FL --- Clear orange amber color, good 1/2" white head cover, sheets of lace. Aroma of malt and hops. Taste is dry malt that has rye on top of it. Bittering enters on the swallow, moving smoothly through a medium finish. A decent brew.
