Engine House No. 9, Tacoma. Cloudy pale yellow, stringy foam. Sweet hoppy aroma. Nice flavors, a little bitter and grass, but body is lacking. Clean, ok drinker. But not a standout. Good flavor on finish. ippopotamo36 (2623) - Rome, ITALY - MAY 9, 2016
On tap at Engine House # 9 in Tacoma-USA. Cloudy yellow bright pour, white foam adhesive. Nose: kind of wired funk, bit flat. Mouth: bit creamy, not much of hay or malts, herbal anyway.

"This one defied style a bit. Oddly hopped...not sure of the variety used but it was jam packed with flavor and aroma for a 5% brew. I dug this one, though it paled in comparison to the IPAs. Get it? Paled??"

Clear golden color, small white head. Not much aroma, some light maltyness. Light-bodied. Dusty, a bit woody hoppyness. Light lingering Saaz bitterness in the finish. Not the most interesting beer, not much going on.
slightly better than their ipa, but not by much. this place is unimpressive.
