COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dit speciale bier is het resultaat van zorgvuldig geroosterde mout selectie. Een mooie donkere kleur. Tonen van koffie en cacao. Een volle, robuuste smaak met een romige schuimkraag, aangenaam bitter.

33cl bottle shared. Apperance: Dark brown with a off-white head with a decent retention. The head is slightly below 2 fingers sized. Aroma: light roast, grass and a hint of coffee. Taste: watery with a mild bitterness thanks to the roasted malts, some light coffee and a hint of fruit. thin body , slighly overcabonated for it’s body.

Bottled. 33cl sample. The aroma has light roast, bit grass, some coffee. Black coloured beer with an off-white head. The taste is a bit watery, bit roasted and a bit fruity. Very carbonated, Lacks a bit taste and carbo doesn’t really make it better.

Bottle shared at Chriso’s post GBBF minidig, 16/08/14. Clear mahogany brown with a good sized khaki head. Nose is light soap, bitter dark fruits, fruit jam, light roast. Taste comprises lactic notes, dark fruit rinse, earthy tones, faint cocoa. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Not great tbh, passable at best.

Bottle, deep red-brown, red fruity nose, ashy and fruity-sweet palate, tart plums, a touch of sherbet and a hint of choc. Unlike other Schwarzbiers, but rather nice!

PotjeBier (3735) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - AUG 8, 2014
33 cl bottle @ home. I was prepared for a gusher, but that didn’t happen. There WAS an enormous beige head with long retention and good lacing. Deep brown color with a red hue. Aroma’s: dark malts, caramel, red fruit. More caramel retronasal, some sourness. Flavor is moderate sour, roasted, light caramel. High carbo. Finish is earthy bitter. Probably a light infection and the firm bitter finish is also out of place. Might have been OK when young....

Beer came gushing out like madness. Mild taste of choco malt, vanilla and some hop. Bit thin, I expected it to be more rich and tasty.

Vaiz (4460) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - APR 18, 2014
Bottle at home, quite heavy gusher. Black pour, thick tan head with black specks. Probably bottled a little too much sediment. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee, ash, burnt malts, earthy and some bready yeasy. Flavor is watery, bitter, roasted thin coffee mess. Not really interesting, and quite dusty with quite a lot of powdery mess still in the brew.

Beer flowed out of the bottle when opend, not pleasant lost some! Medium to large brown coloured head, black coloured with a red/brown glow, resin, caramel, coffee residu after filtering, bread smell, dry watery in the last mouth feeling, medium to high carbonation, medium coffee bitter, some fruity citrus hints
