Pour is a near black with a small tan head. Aroma is sweet but burnt malt with a very subtle pumpkin pie spice. Flavor is some sweet chocolate malt with some vanilla and caramel sugar notes. Pumpkin spice is kind of an after thought as they are overshadowed by the rich porter malts. If you are looking for a intense pumpkin beer this is not the one to look for. This is more a spiced porter with the porter aspect leading the way. degbert (1773) - Austin, Texas, USA - AUG 23, 2015
Bottle. Pours a dark, translucent brown with red highlights and a creamy, cinnamon head with a lot of lace. Nose is allspice, nutmeg, molasses, fresh pumpkin, black tea, eggs, and graham. Very little dark aromas for a porter. On the palate, it’s very much like a spiced coffee on the front of the tongue; a delicious, dry melange of espresso and fall spices shifting into the roundness of fresh pumpkin. This one’s serious; it’s not confection or pastry, but more about the real spice and vegetable. Finish is long, molasses-tinged, and slightly heavy. Impressive. hershiser2 (3250) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - AUG 21, 2015
Pours black with a large frothy tan head. Smells of clove, nutmeg, pumpkin, cinnamon, and vanilla.
Taste is vanilla cinnamon, ginger, pumpkin. Yum! chucklemation (1685) - Royal Oak, Michigan, USA - AUG 20, 2015
Pours a dark mahogany with a thin, long-lasting off-white head. Aroma is toast/nut, chocolate, pumpkin, nutmeg, allspice. Flavor is roast, toast, chocolate, pumpkin, and nutmeg, among other spices. Has a dry, slightly bitter finish. I really enjoyed this. Every sip yields some new flavor and aroma. Beerandhockey8 (403) - Three Forks, Montana, USA - AUG 17, 2015
From 22oz bottle to shaker. This is the imperial pumpkin porter. Pour is a black color with a thin beige head. Nose is pumpkin, cinnamon, malt, nutmeg, coffee. Taste is mostly sweet, medium body. Lively finish on the palate. Not bad just lacking some depth.

Brown color with a tint of ruby when held to the light. Moderate sized light tan colored head. Sweet pumpkin with mild spice scents. A really nice feel. Pumpkin and floral flavors. Sweet pink or purple jelly bean flavors (not a favorite here). Perfumed. Licorice, another component I’m not big on. BVery (10510) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JUL 4, 2015
Bomber. Dark dense brown pour with a huge foamy head. Chocolate, pumpkin, spice, some vanilla. Dense creamy palate. Good stuff. bartlebier (3982) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - APR 21, 2015
Bomber shared by maniacally meandering mowbeer @BKL ’15 - SA, thanks! Textured copperbrown pour, cookiedough. Dough-aromatic and more flavour-infused cookie and seasonal biscuit (spekuloos, gingerbread) alleviated by fresh vanilla and pumpkin spices. Pleasingly chewy drink, spiked with the classical nutmeg/cinnamon, brown sugar caramel and with actual pumpkin texture thrown into the mix. Tastefully done for such a risky overloaded style, making tasty, punching use of its abv. njager246 (697) - grand rapids, Michigan, USA - MAR 25, 2015
Aroma is chocolate, cinnamon, and pumpkin. Taste has a lot of chocolate, a little pumpkin, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Nice DSG (14784) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - MAR 22, 2015
Bottle sample at a tasting at Naama’s place. Thanks Stas & Vova. Deep amber with a beige head. Aroma of caramel, some toast, pumpkin, pie spices, cookie and a bit of vanilla. Sweet flavor, spicy, with caramel, some pumpkin, toast, a bit of chocolate and a drier finish with a bitterish hint. Medium-bodied.
