Appearance: pours with a medium large tan head that settles into a small head with moderate density, the beer is very black and I can't see thru it even when I hold it up to the light
Aroma: creamy vanilla, very faint chocolate and pumpkin
Taste: hints of pumpkin throughout, chocolate, not to bitter on the finish,
Palate: feels warm in the mouth, medium mouthfeel, minimal chocolate aftertaste, average carbonation
Overall: this is a good beer, it's flavors and aromas are very subtle, hides the abv well, good winter beer

Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, cocoa, vanilla, and cinnamon. Flavor starts roasted malt and unsweetened cocoa, vanilla and some light pumpkin. Followed with some light spicing of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. Finishes with bitterness of roasted coffee and dark chocolate. Thanks Maxbier for hanging on to this one to share with me.

Dark brown pour. Big tan head. Plenty of lacing. Smells like chocolate pumpkin pie. Taste is malty with some chalky spice-ness. Decent. Alphadelic (2249) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 27, 2014
A roasty, slightly spicy aroma. Smooth and roasty in the mouth with some cinnamon and vanilla, a touch of pumpkin flesh flavor and sweetness. This is like a wonderful pumpkin version of Anchor’s Our Special Ale. gramity (1706) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 10, 2014
Pours jet black with a dense and creamy tan head that lasts and lasts, showing plenty of lace. Bright nose of pie spice and toasty chocolate malt. Creamy thick body with soft carb. Chocolate, roast, and pie spice on the mid palate, beautifully integrated. Long sweet finish. CObiased (562) - Bayfield, Colorado, USA - DEC 5, 2014
Bomber release #19....8.4 % ABV. Nice aromas of coffee, milk chocolate, light nutmeg, light pumpkin and molasses. Nice mouthfeel and balance between bitter, roast and sweet. Lingering finish melds with some vanilla notes. jake65 (4033) - Meridian, Idaho, USA - NOV 29, 2014
Bottle: Dark brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma is soft with the typical pumpkin spices, but alive with a real pumpkin smell. Faint cocoa. Taste is more focused on the pumpkin, some sweetness like pumpkin pie; I’m imagining crust and whipped cream. Light cocoa and roast. Creamy feel. Very nice.
