22 oz bomber. Pours a deep brown with an amber hue and a one finger khaki head that leaves very good lacing. Aroma of cocoa, pumpkin, and vanilla. Taste is cocoa, pumpkin, vanilla, light spices (nutmeg, cinnamon). Long finish of cocoa and cinnamon. Medium bodied, smooth and creamy texture, average carbonation. Very easy drinker. Pours black with ruby highlights, small tan head. Aroma is coffee and spices. 1st taste is a little vanilla and pumpkin, with spice hitting next and finishing with coffee bitterness. Not as much pumpkin as I’d prefer. Find a Warlock instead if you can TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 5, 2014
Pours a dark brown color with tan head. Pumpkin pie spicing, cocoa, and some vanilla and roast on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a bit of sweetness, but no too much. Barreras (1689) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - OCT 4, 2014
Pours a dark brown color with a sweet chocolate aroma. Taste is bitter pumpkin, mixed with a squash flavor. A slight chocolate and coffee roast which seemed diluted by the vegetable pumpkin/squash mixture. mysticbrew (121) - - OCT 4, 2014
From a bottle in a tulip. Dark chocolate pour with non-persistent creamy tar colored head. Head lacing hangs to the finish of the glass. The rich flavor of coffee, chocolate and toasted malt. Subtle flavor of pumpkin and nutmeg as the beer warms and the fizz dissipates. There is a creamy silky mouthfeel with a bit of a smokey & spicy finish. Very tasty.

Poured from bottle into English pint. Pours a rich chocolate brown, khaki head about 1 finger tall. Height of head dissipates pretty quickly, but never goes away. Aroma - malt, chocolate, vanilla, and pumpkin spices. Taste - chocolate, coffee, dark malt, subtle sweetness from pumpkin with a touch of spice. Mostly this tastes like a porter, but the pumpkin and spices are subtle, but definitely present. Mouthfeel is a bit oily, carbonation is very fizzy on the tongue. Finish is short to medium length. Nice change of pace from the light pumpkin ale that’s everywhere. RussianDragon (877) - - SEP 28, 2014
On draft at Right Proper. Pours a very dark brown with hint of plum coloration. Head is off white, and leaves moderate soapy lacing on the glass. Aroma is mild vegetal complexity and light roasted malt character with hint of pumpkin pie spice profile. Flavor is roasted malt, light mocha complexity, a hint of spice and pumpkin, and dark fruit sweetness. Alcohol is well masked - a deceptively easy drinking solid beer all around. weihenweizen (4127) - Charleston Area, West Virginia, USA - SEP 28, 2014
UPDATED: SEP 29, 2014 Refrigerated brown bomber, release #15, poured into a snifter. Black with medium brown highlights and with small beige head. Aroma is vanilla/pumpkin/some roastiness, medium body, medium/light carbonation, and good small-bubble lacing. Taste is marshmallow, vanilla, some spice, some pumpkin, and some chocolate. Pretty easy to drink, alcohol is well covered, and overall pretty good. DMLINAZ (358) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - SEP 27, 2014
Thursday’s Total Wine Autumn beer tasting class. Nice. Aroma is spice; good mouthfeel; mild pumpkin flavor; better than the Southern Tier Warlock that came just before. AndyW68 (1602) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - SEP 26, 2014
