Opened this bottle with a friend on Thanksgiving. Poured into a pint glass. Pours a dark brown with a small beige head. The aroma is pumpkin, bread, vanilla, and fresh cookies. Moderate carbonation bolsters this beer, but there’s some slickness to it that detracts from it a bit. Finishes with a little snap of bubbles. Good flavor profile with obvious pumpkin, though it’s not as bold as some in the style. It melds well with vanilla sweetness, milk chocolate, light coffee. Well-rounded flavors that aren’t pronounced in any one area. A pleasant bounty of holiday flavors. A good pumpkin beer, that isn’t a one-trick pony. A nice Thanksgiving treat.
Pours cola brown with a reddish hue. Aroma of pumpkin, roasted malt, cinnamon, and vanilla. Pumpkin flavor with coffee, cocoa, cinnamon, and vanilla. Very well balanced. FROTHINGSLOSH (8142) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 10, 2017
Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a very dark brown color with faint res highlights and a medium sized foamy beige head that left decent lacing. The aroma was coffee, cinnamon, wood and malt. The flavor was bitterish and malty with faint coffee, melon and hints of nutmeg and clove. Long coffee and melon finish. Medium bodied and smooth. Odd. Danke an Erzengel. Dunkler, cremig malziger Beginn. Milde runde Noten von Kürbis, brotig, Roggen. Schokoladig, nur wenig kräutrig. Angenehm milde Süße, leicht nach Vanille. Süffig, vollmundig, nicht übertrieben krätrig - selten bei US Pumpkin Ales... 11/12/12/12/12/12 MrTipple (6471) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 15, 2017

Clear aroma of roast and malt, with notes of pumpkin and yeast. Bitter-veggie flavour of pumpkin and roast, with malty, estery and coffeelike notes and touches of hops. 22oz bottle. Poured a dark brown with an off white head. I like my pumpkin beers less spice and more pumpkin - this was not that. Some chocolate and vanilla, but the spices... DuffMan (10667) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 26, 2017
Bottle. Very dark brown, amber highlights, average beige head. Spicy chocolate, vanilla cookie, hints of pumpkin. Very well balanced with a nice proportion of flavours, not too much of any one thing. Surprising!
