Bottle thanks to Matt. Pours a cloudy brown with beige head that lasts. The aroma is dark chocolate, roast, raisin. Medium mouthfeel with roasted malt, chocolate, sweet finish. Good. Cousin_Larry (893) - - NOV 22, 2014
Smoke and water. No hints of chocolate or coffee. Disappointing. Not noteworthy enough to say more. DialSquare (4987) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 13, 2014
Bomber from Kenny Road Market. Blackish pour with thin light tan head and spotty stick. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate. Tastes are caramel, toffee, cocoa, nutty, floral, roasty. Medium body. Finishes clean and lightly bitter. Nice enough. JDBaker11058 (2157) - Maryland, USA - OCT 12, 2014
Appearance: dark brown with cola-colored edges, short light tan head, no lacing. Aroma: light aroma of cocoa, some vanilla and cream. Taste: bittersweet and milk chocolate, light coffee and rolled oats, hint of sweet cream. Finish: smooth and dry, just a titch watery. Notes: Not a lot of substance to this stout, but it wasn’t terrible either. Probably wouldn’t drink again.

Bomber at Imazato. Black with a low lacy head. Shiny. Dry chocolate, light coffee, tart fruit in the nose, with a bit of umami soy. Light and thin, with a touch of pickles. Decent but not wholly impressive.

Draft. Pours a medium, well retained, beige head, with slightl lacing, over a dark brown (SRM 30) clear body......nose is cocoa, chocolate, coffee from the roasted malts, slight hop herbal note, balance to the malts.....taste is light lactose type sweetness to start, then cocoa, chocolate, coffee from the roasted malts, finishing dry, with a moderate, hop, roasted malt bitterness......mouth feel medium, with a creamy body, no alcohol, mild acidity. This is a well made but still relatively light Stout. The oatmeal, while present in the creaminess, is slightly lacking in the body, and a bit more in the malt bill would not be remiss. On tap at Smokin’ Dave’s in Estes. Appearance: finger dark brown head, dark brown color, clear, ok lacing, head does not last. Aroma: roast, chocolate, light molasses, undertones of floral hoppiness. Palate: Full body, creamy texture and carbonation, light bitter finish. Taste: sweet chocolate and nuttiness into a light, floral bitterness that lasts for a bit. Overall, the transition from full body to lighter finish is very unique and very well done. Very enjoyable beer.
