Stout slightly opaque brown color, suttle tastes of oatmeal but I think the draft here was lacking some carbonation so didn’t do this thing justice. GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 8, 2013
Tap at Library Ale house thanks to dedicatedtofun. Inky pour with no head. Lemon and mint chocolate nose. Some salt and soy. Moderate plastic. Taste is thinner, some semisweet chocolate, lemon. But quite watery. DedicatedToFun (4000) - Santa Monica, California, USA - JUN 8, 2013

Enjoying batch #21 of Epic’s 825 State Stout. 5.7% it has a lovely chocolate aroma & it pours black with a beige head. Some roast coffee notes, hints of smokey bacon & chocolate. Very nice & easy to drink!

Bomber gifted last year. Pretty solids sweet stout, nice malty oatmeal notes and a nice Lacey head LamarBurton (376) - California, USA - APR 24, 2013
Bottle pour. Clear dark-ish brown, off white head that fades to a ring and leaves minimal lacing. Aroma is light sweet crystal malts, some roast in there as well. Taste is some astringent roasted malts, some cola like flavors, perhaps a touch of bitterness on the finish, though hard to tell if that is from the roasted malts or hops. Just OK. elihapa (1553) - Honolulu, Hawaii, USA - APR 23, 2013
9/7/12 notes: bottle. Pours dark brown with a this off white head. Nose of ash, spearmint, roasted barley, dark chocolate. Mouthfeel is refreshingly crisp, light, dry. Flavor is dry and bittersweet throughout, an ashy mixture of charcoal, charred grains, cacao, traces of cola and ginger root. The dry and light finish lifts the smoky notes just enough; this stout is intensely flavorful yet sessionable. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - MAR 20, 2013
22. Pours black with a loose and creamy tan ring of moussy foam. Sheets of soft lace. Mild sweet chocolate and caramel nose. Creamy medium body, almost velvety. Soft carb. Chocolate and caramel back on the mid palate. Long sweet finish. Nice, without flaw, a little overly sweet. Itzjerm (2866) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - MAR 8, 2013
Great mouthfeel. Good aroma. Looks good but no head. Taste good really enjoyable. Sweet not bitter but balanced one of their better brews
