A surprisingly great beer from Utah. Loved the coffee notes and the thin mouthfeel, though not as creamy as I normally like. Overall a good one!

22 ounce bottle. Pours a dark black with a one inch tan head that lasts. Taste is of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, wood, coffee and some fruit. Has a similar aroma. This was shared with Strykzone one Facebook Chat. Poured dark brown being almost black with a beige head. Good lacing. Nose of roasted malts wih some fruit and a lot of chocolate followed by a whiff of coffee. Medium body. Not as rich as it looks but the mouthfeel is very smooth. Flavor if big bakers chocolate, coffee, the dark ripe fruit, and some cirrus. Finishes with a bit of spice and bitterness. Very good. Very good indeed.

Bomber from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Very dark with some cherry hues. A beige head is three fingers and fades slowly. Not a big aroma. Roast, coffee, and chocolate. Feel is creamy. A subtle but complex first sip. Nuts, lactic, toffee, citrus. A bit of spice and there is more roast as it warms. This is very nice. Thanks, Ron! Release #54, 6% ABV. Pours thin but very dark, the head dissipates very quickly. Aroma is baker’s chocolate and a little coffee, faint, piney hops. Tap at taphouse grill in Seattle with commonmac and rosskyle. Nearly black with very thick foamy head. Smells like a malty stout. Sweet and malty. Extremely smooth and creamy. Like a meal that’s very soft on the palate. Clean finish. Quite good.
