Bottle:   Musty vegetal nose, seems a little tart and sweaty.   Light tart notes up front, even a touch sweet, with a soft musty and slightly earthy/soily malt profile.   Has an old orange flavor profile to finish.   A little toasted malts, can be a bit nutty, but overall it just seems a bit too weak and... frankly odd.   Perhaps that’s the Tea?   This one didn’t work for me. nealblind (2019) - Seattle, Alabama, USA - MAR 7, 2014
Dark orange brown big light tan head. Aroma of choco powder, tang, woody tannin. Tastes of raisins, brown bread, slight smoke, slight soy sauce, coco powder, tang. firm acidity coming from the tea/yeast. Booze is noticable light carb, mostly dry with slight sweetness. Light body for style. As sessionable as a brown gets due to well balanced dry palate and lighter body. Refined yet Poundable. IT"S LIKE A BROWN/SAISON!!!
