3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle   Big sweet funky yeasty start, not much hop bitterness, or bite.   This one is just super yeasty and even doughy.   Almost a bit too sweet.   This would could actually use a bit of hoppiness to balance the sweet funky yeastiness.   Seems more a Belgian, or a bad Tripel before it would be considered a Pale Ale.   Very yeasty, some funkiness, but lacking brightness or direction.   Still somewhat entertaining, even if a little lost.   More hops I say!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Sampled at repeal. Darker golden. Minimal off white foam. This begins earthy with yeast but fruit soon jumps in. That fruit is almost likeeating out of a can with the syrup. Some spice is thennoted and more bitter hops after that. Earth and malts after that. I want more than a sample of this. Both tasty and fun to drink.
