22oz, waxed bottle. Yep, ketchup and tomatoes - especially in the aromas. Some cherries and fruitiness, but could not get past the tomatoes.
Nice clear ruby and pink coloured body with a glow of amber, copper and violet - nice! All with a super fast-dying (just like soda) tan head. Aroma of tart cherries, malt, alcohol, yeast, hay and more fruits - nice! Light to Medium-bodied; Nice tart light flavour of malt and wheat up front with a ton of cherry flavours with some tart lemons, yeast and a hint of wheat. Aftertaste shows a great blend of sour and tart cherries, lemons, apples, pears and almost no malt at all - very thin and one-dimensional. Overall, a nicely tart and fruity beer, but the lack of complexity makes it under the best tart beers out there (La Folie, New Glarus Raspberry/Belgian, etc). Great to sample, perhaps the year aging helped it out some!?! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased exactly a year ago on 11-January-2013 from Bottleworks in Seattle, Washington for US$7.99 (Batch #1) sampled exactly a year later on 11-January-2014 at home in [the real] Washington. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - AUG 11, 2013
Bottle:   Orange side of amber, somewhat dark, a bit hazy, small sudsy white head, little lacing.   Ugh, bike tire air dominates.   Faint cherry.   Luckily on the nose the bike tire are is a bit more muted, and the
cherry comes out a bit more.   Semi-sweet, light tartness.   Does retain a bit of that saki yeast like bike tire flair as it warms.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Slightly dry finish, some cherry, but that yeast
just absolutely kills this beer. boFNjackson (4230) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 1, 2013
Bottle... Poured reddish with an eggy, light khaki head. Another dud from Epic Ales. Aroma of ripe tomatoes and dressing with a hint of cherries. Some tartness but mostly a vile/stomach acid-like component with malt sweetness. Not good. skoisirius (1908) - Earth, Washington, USA - JAN 8, 2013
Picked up at Whole Foods Denny Way, Seattle a few weeks back. Solid presentation. Pours copper red, literally no head whatsoever. Cherries and sweet malts on the nose. Sweet overall, with almost no carbonation, the cherries definitely stick out through the brew. Hints of sour funk, very subtle. Different, interesting, and decent.

(12oz bottle?) Sampled at EskimoDave’s houseparty. Sweet ketchup chips and sour cherries. Very tart, nice sour features... Balsamic vinegar. Very abnormal.
