As "Party Time!!! Sour Blond Ale - no syrup.
Cloudy yellow color, white head. Acidic, lemon, fresh taste. Light wheat dough aftertaste, also metallic. Fizzy, light mouthfeel, no bitterness. Acidic, light of cheese scent.
With syrup added:
Spruce tip: More sweeter scent. Too much sweet spruce taste.

22 oz bottle pour. Pours a dark yellow with no head. A juicy, cider like beer with a lot of fruit flavor. Apple and grape mostly. Really nice tart flavor throughout. Long sour finish. I really liked this one. Solid. nealblind (1867) - Seattle, Alabama, USA - FEB 28, 2014
Cloudy yellows pour. Fast fading white head. Aroma of barnyard yeast, funk, wheat. Tastes metallic lemons. Very acidic. harrymel (1551) - Spokane, Washington, USA - DEC 5, 2013
From the bottle: "brewed with malted barley, hops, water and yeast. It is first soured in the mash process to create a super tart, festive and refreshing brew."
Upon opening about four ounces went down the drain - lively indeed. Once poured, a turbid corny concoction with a etched surface of whites. Smells funky with bits of lactic acid. Has a distinctively yogurt smell with some funky barn character. Flavor is metallic, acetic and lactic. Lot’s of lemon juice, some hints of grain and plenty of manure. Interesting brew. MEdium on full bodied with lighter carb now that it’s calmed. Good taster, would drink again. Would like to see how the bugs interact with another year on it.

Batch 9 - great looking, great smelling and even great tasting TO BEGIN WITH, then It’s like chewing tin foil. Beautiful lemon and yeast on the nose, nice sweet cereals and a tart bite. Then that metal. Unfortunate. RobertDale (6552) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - JUN 24, 2013
Bomber at a sharing. Pours a clear pale gold with a nice white head. Aroma of fruit, malt, and grain. Taste is tart fruit, malt, lemon, and wheat. Interesting. Ferris (15901) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 17, 2013
Bottle - Batch 2 from 2012 - Lemon, grapes and grains with some grassy hops. Effervescent pale gold with a bubbly head. Sour right of the bat, that fades nicely and leaves a very clean finish. Salty and a slight bit acidic but I could see drinking this on a hot day on a patio with food. Slight fruits in the sourness especially nectarine. Very nice. jgb9348 (6316) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - JUN 16, 2013
Crystal clear golden coloured body with the slightest orange tint and a thinish, one centimetre tall pale white head. Aroma of sour grapes, malt, light earth and metal, a bit of soap and some very pale sugars and fruit - not much in the nose here. Light-bodied; Soapy, pungent flavour with a bit of a sour fruity flavour with a hint of lemons and an earthy, funky flavour that comes from the malt. Aftertaste shows some good complexity, but all revolving around the light sour notes, the super light body - hardly any malt at all in here it seems, with a tiny bit of fruit and some sweetness at the tail end. Overall, a nice and interesting beer with some sour flavours, but a very light and refreshing beer if nothing else, but the sour notes show well, just an odd mix and not concise enough. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Pear Delicatessen in Seattle, Washington on 11-February-2013 for US$5.10 sampled at home in [the real] Washington on the other end of the country, on 16-June-2013 in celebration of my first Father’s Day. On tap at the brewery. The brewer described this as a Berliner Weiss. Pours a lightly hazed, pale golden-yellow colored body with a finger-width, frothy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is lightly tart with a nice fruitiness giving off a bit of a lemon. Clean and a bit musty with some earth and a light wheat. Similar flavor. Somewhat tart up front with a nice lemon note, slight musty earth, and thin wheat. Clean, light tartness and fruitiness in the finish before leaving a medium length aftertaste. Thin body and a light carbonation. Overall, a solid Berliner Weiss. Lightly tart and fruity with a clean, refreshing finish. Nice beer.
