Thanks to ericandersnavy for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours a dirty orange-brown color with a white head. The aroma is full of toffee and bread, with not too much else going on. The flavor is a little bit more complex, with some grains of paradise mixed in with the toffee and caramel malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. 22oz bottle thanks to ericandersnavy.
Hazy amber brew, off-white head. Nose of earth, caramel, spice, and herbal hops. Taste of cinnamon, brown sugar, and caramel. reebtogi (6246) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 3, 2012
650ml bottle pours hazy amber in color with a finger of off-white head that leaves some thin lacing on the glass. Aromas of caramel malts and hints of yeast and hops. Taste is caramel malty sweetness with hints of yeast and a lingering hoppy bitterness. There is something not quite right with this beer, but I cannot put a finger on it. It was somewhat enjoyable, but just not quite there. thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - SEP 27, 2011
(22oz bomber thanks to ericandersnavy) opaque orange with a fine bubbled eggshell-colored head. Nose of caramel, grains of paradise, a bit of honey, stewed tomatoes and Belgian yeast. Taste is medium bitter, pine needles, gold raisins, a bit floral and stewed tomatoes. presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 31, 2011
Bottle. How old is it when you buy a Winter Ale in August? Great head on copper-amber. Spicy aroma is Saison like. Belgian quality, yeasty and spicy. Not sure why it is called Winter as it is a nice Imperial Saison.

Amber in color, cloudy with a thin white head. Lots of malt and yeast like aromas. The flavor was thick malt with light fruit and spice. Light sugar/molasses flavors and a dry finish. All these beers here at Epic have to be paired with special foods.
(22oz bottle, courtesy of ericandersnavy) Pours a lightly hazy amber body with a small white head. Aroma of coconut, roasted grain, honey, and rice cakes. Flavor of toasted coconut, caramel, grass, brown sugar, and Belgian yeast with a dry, moderately bitter finish. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAY 1, 2011
Bottle:   Deep caramel, hazy, moderate foamy off-white head, nice lacing.   Subtle bike tire air... shocking ey?   Some spiciness that reminds me of caraway and hearty bread.   Similar tongue, caraway and similar bird seed like flavors.   Let’s not forget the stale rubbery tire air.   This has some flavor that covers up that tire air, but its still there.   Sometimes I wonder why I stil get these... Oh yeah, labels. SphinxTX (2875) - Mata Gorda, Texas, USA - APR 19, 2011
