Bottle:   Bright straw, hazy, thick, small frothy white head, spotty lacing.   Zesty nose, lemony, some lime.   Hard to tell whats beyond it, but certainly is interesting.   Soft wheaty start, immediate lime flavors.   A bit tart, some saltiness.   Seems like a cross between a Wheat and a Berliner Weisse.   Does have a slight soapiness to it on the backside.   Like lime soap, a bit fragrant towards the backside.   Interesting beer to say the least.   Lingering saltiness.   The wheaty part is minor.   Reminds me a bit of a margarita.   Not bad, not great, unique, but probably wouldn’t visit again. nealblind (1946) - Seattle, Alabama, USA - DEC 29, 2013
Hazy orange yellow pour some head. Aroma of peaches, lemons slight funk, spicy grain. Serious barny funk, strong lime flavors, forward yeast flavors. Moderate sour. Could use more brine flavor. Sorta watery. The most limey beer I’ve ever had. Seems sorta outta season now though. Would be good in summer. ericdevin (988) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - DEC 23, 2013
Bottle from BottleWorks, Seattle. Pours a cloudy medium golden, decent amount of tan head. Aroma funky, musty, barnyard, some citrus. Lime. Body full and lively, finish has lots of like and a sweet banana essence. Delicious! Smurf2055 (1400) - Seattle, Washington, USA - NOV 21, 2013
Pours lemon colored hazy, two finger white head. Smell sweet but not typical Weizen yeast. Less banana and clove, more stale. Taste peppery, bit bitter, citrusy, lime, not tart but a bit of a fruity twang, more than expected, almost a bit metallic. Sweet and light. Not that great. pushkinwow (2851) - Ottawa, CANADA - NOV 15, 2013
Sample tried at the brewery. Pale yellow with a slight off white head. The kafir leaves definitely come through and lend a different aroma then lime along with a mild maltiness. Mild body and moderate carbonation, slightly dry and bit bitter on the finish. Interesting.
