Bottle:   Pale brown yet dirty and thick, muddy, moderate to large frothy sandy head, nice lacing.   Pale toasted malt nose, along with lots of cocoa and strong nutty notes.   Not as interesting on the tongue.   Musty, stale malts, not that cocoa I got on the nose.   A touch tart too.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes very musty, dusty, barnish, and stale.   Smells so much better... somewhat amazed that it didn’t come across that way on the tongue.   A touch astringent too after the finish... ugh... nealblind (2007) - Seattle, Alabama, USA - NOV 1, 2013
Brown pour some head. Aroma of lactic, whole wheat. Acidic palate sorta watery. Big wheat flavor, spicy. Makes my mouth prickly in a good way.
