COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the beginning, there was nothing. Then an impish brewer piled a ludicrous amount of hops into a batch of beer. This zymurgical big bang is Epic Armageddon, an apocalyptic assault on your preconceptions and taste buds. It may be too huge for this fragile planet so enjoy this beer like it was the last one on Earth.
EBC (SRM): 15
HOPS: US Cascade, US Centennial, US Columbus, US Simcoe
MALT: English pale ale, Caramalt

33 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Golden coloured with a medium white head. Grasy and floral aroma. Taste is grassy and floral, with caramel. Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Medium bitterness. A very well balanced beer.

nice does of pine resin, citrus and floral hops. Also a little sweet and a little malty, but overall a very good IIPA that finishes bittersweet and piney.

Wischylini (297) - Grimstad, NORWAY - SEP 10, 2015
Pours clear golden, with a medium white head. The aromas are pine resin, and citrusy hops. The taste is dry and bitter, and the mouthfeel is thin. The aftertaste is moderately long. Unbalanced, uninspired, bland and boring; even for an IPA.

Awesome, Love the level of bitterness balanced but the sweetness in the middle then that slightly bite at the finish - pause - repeat. Brilliant Florals and fruits, looks fantastic, really is a trend setter for hop forward IPA beers.

fine aroma of fruit hops & pine as poured gold & lacy tastes as good all bitter hops with floral tangy fruity lingering flavours

Re rated. An old favourite and better than ever this year. Looks as an IPA generally does. Nice Citrus, floral, pine and orange. Dominant Simcoe notes, great balance and pretty unique while still fitting style

From old rating. The bottles that came to Sweden seems quite old, lots of the hops had disappeared. The problem with sending the beer halfway around the world and then get stuck at Systembolaget

Bottle @ home w friends/don. Appearance: pours clear golden with ok white soapy head and lacing. aroma/taste: barley, biscuit. tropical fruits pine and citrus notes. palette: strong fruity aroma, average carbonation, medium body, average to notable sweetness, slightly dominated by a distinct bitterness, medium to long duration and an oily texture. Overall: nice well balanced "tropical" ipa.

[5/29 tasting, from notes]. Thanks to Andrew for this. Clear pale pour, with caramel and surprisingly some roast (reminds me of a coffee IPA) and stone-ground mustard. Medium body, average carbonation. Assertively bitter.
