COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the beginning, there was nothing. Then an impish brewer piled a ludicrous amount of hops into a batch of beer. This zymurgical big bang is Epic Armageddon, an apocalyptic assault on your preconceptions and taste buds. It may be too huge for this fragile planet so enjoy this beer like it was the last one on Earth.

Ungstrup (37867) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 27, 2011
A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has strong notes of hops, lending the beer notes of grass and grapefruits, which is combined with lighter notes of over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, over ripe fruits, and fresh peaches and grapefruit, leading to a bitter finish. The body is light.

Bottled. Clear deep golden, rich firm head. Concentrated hoppy lychee aroma. Sweet with dense, rounded mouthfeel. Perfumy lychee and gooseberry-like hops. Really bitter finish, but not overly aggressive. Top stuff!

Staff recommendation at Churchkey. Bottle. Clear dark yellow, scant head and lacing. Aroma of grass an anise, very nice. Taste is an explosion of freshly cut grass and scallions, very nice indeed.

Bright clear amber - gold beer, tidy white head. Light palate, fairly dry. Very nicely judged hops - light, fresh and flavoursome without being heavy or bitter. Grass, gooseberry. lime and a little of both orange and grapefruit marmalade. Mild floral notes. Semi dry finish with a trace of mint. Very easy drinking.
