Aroma is coffee, cocoa/rocky road and dark malts. The flavor is chocolate/rocky road, coffee, mild spices, dark malts and an acidic/warming alcoholic finish.

UPDATED: MAR 14, 2018 Grifo.

Pour is black as oil, small khaki head and very good lacing. Smell is of dark chocolate, bourbon, fresh roasted coffee, and a touch of vanilla. Taste is strong, chocolate, wood, bourbon, roasted malts, and strong coffee.

Deep black with a tan head. Smell is almost scotch-like. Some tobacco notes. Taste is immediately complex. Caramel, cinnamon, and prunes. It's boozy, but covered by the heavy bodied taste.

Taste: rich, dark toasted chocolate, coffee, malty, molasses, with notes of oak and whiskey. Woody, whiskey and chocolate malt nose. Black, opaque, with a real dark tan head, foamy, then breaks quickly with some lace. Full body. Robust, smooth, complex, coffee in the finish as it warms. Alcohol with sneak on on you.
