Pours opaque dark brown with no head. Nose is molasses and sweet cocoa. Flavour has a fair amount lot of coffee with a subtle hint of chocolate. It drinks a bit thin with a slight boozyness.

No aroma café verde sobressai sobre o Bourbon e amadeirado, álcool bem evidente, faltou equilíbrio.
No paladar mais café mas agora de média torrefação, médio dulçor e leve acidez.
Licorosa, média carbonatação.

Arômes de malt torréfié, grains de café, chocolat au lait, branche de bois dur, anis, crème à la vanille. En bouche, goût de chocolat noir et de whisky sucré qui transite tranquillement vers des saveurs de café-crème, de bois et un léger côté épicé venant de l’alcool, en passant par des saveurs de vanille. Bottle. Pours black with a one finger brown head that lingers and left good lacing. Aroma of coffee, bourbon, chocolate and vanilla. Flavor of dark chocolate, coffee, bourbon, vanilla and wood. Very nice.

Bottle. Sensoric. Pitch black with light brown, moderate head. Good head retention and lacing. Moderate roasted aroma - milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, oaky. The barrel notes are not so intense, but still quite up-front. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. In overall good brew, well ABV hidden, bourbon notes are on moderate level and not very annoying. Malty backbone is nice, should be a little more thick, but still good one. Solid 4.0. This was an awesome bourbon barrel imperial stout. Aroma was awesome. Strong chocolate and milk smells. Pour was a nice deep dark brown/near black with a thin tan film for a head. Taste was fantastic. One of the most balanced bourbon barrel aged beers I’ve ever had. Chocolate milk, sweet milk chocolate and just small hints of vanilla. The bourbon doesn’t overpower in this beer; it accentuates it. Creates a sweet, woody and bourbon finish. Medium carbonation. A deep dark imperial stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with loads of coffee grind, musty character, light vanilla, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with loads of coffee, licorice notes, vanilla, alcohol warmth, very nice and pleasing. UPDATED: MAR 17, 2017 Great Imperial Stout. The name is very revealing. Its big and its bad, in a very good way. Not sure about the baptist. If you like barrel aged imperial stouts, this one is right up there. Like how they give you the release # and the abv on each bottle. You can go to their web site and look up that specific release.
