UPDATED: MAR 28, 2014 Dark black on the pour with a creamy, light brown head. Strong coffee bean aromas right off the bat. Roasty, sweet chocolate flavors with a toast coffee flavor left on the palate. Overall, Amazing stout!

22oz bottle. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, caramel, and a hint of booziness. Taste is similar - huge amounts coffee and chocolate - but with a more developed whiskey presence. Full body. Soft carbonation. Thick, creamy mouthfeel.

Bottle shared. Pours black with a tan head. Heavy coffee nose, creamy chocolate, tons of depth to it. Cocoa, light vanilla. Reminds me of the Cycle coffee series. Really tasty. Side by side with the Bapatista, it’s really a matter of personal preference, both are amazing.

December 30th, 2014 - Ending our day at Epic Brewing is the Big Bad Baptist Imperial Stout, ordered and anticipated to be an explosive cap to the line of tasters. Dark and placid like a still lake at night, the aroma is filled with heavy coffee and cream, with odds and ends reminiscent of espresso. The taste is incredibly smooth and velvety, with coffee and chocolate notes snaking around on the soft mouthfeel. A little salt is present too, giving the chocolate a more Mexican chocolate type flavor, with I find very likable.

Black pour, brown head. Roasty coffee aroma with espresso and a bit of chocolate. Flavor has lots of chocolate and roast; delicious! Very rich and chewy mouthfeel.

Bouteille.

W aromacie potężna kawa, gorzka czekolada, praliny, wanilia, kakaowe ciasto nasączone likierem, gdzieś z tyłu przemykają nuty mokrego drewna i whiskey.
