Bottle shared. Pours black with a tan head. Heavy coffee nose, creamy chocolate, tons of depth to it. Cocoa, light vanilla. Reminds me of the Cycle coffee series. Really tasty. Side by side with the Bapatista, it’s really a matter of personal preference, both are amazing. jmcs (1) - mostoles, SPAIN - JUL 12, 2017 does not count

December 30th, 2014 - Ending our day at Epic Brewing is the Big Bad Baptist Imperial Stout, ordered and anticipated to be an explosive cap to the line of tasters. Dark and placid like a still lake at night, the aroma is filled with heavy coffee and cream, with odds and ends reminiscent of espresso. The taste is incredibly smooth and velvety, with coffee and chocolate notes snaking around on the soft mouthfeel. A little salt is present too, giving the chocolate a more Mexican chocolate type flavor, with I find very likable.
