December 2017 - Tasting at One Canada Square. Bottle shared with big thanks to Adibeer. As 'Epic Big Bang'. Pale orange, translucent and still, foamy off-white head leaves light lacing. Aroma is resinous, orange peel, touch of toffee, more orange. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is again orange-forward, resinous, juicy sugary background, spiced resinous finish. Pretty good. (7-4-7-4-15=3.7) madmitch76 (26850) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 3, 2018

18Dec2017 Bitter, sweet citrus fruits, lemon peel, bitter orange. Clear gold, medium, creamy, white head. Light bitter. More bitter citrus and tropical fruits, bitter, candied mango, bittersweet citrus fruits, grass, wet straw, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Very nice IIPA, rich and intense, yet well-balanced. Bottle. Amber with a white head. 3+ Aroma is surprisingly delicate with mandarins and citrus blossoms, spices, cantaloupe, mango skin, bread crust. Medium bodied, highish carbonation. Tastes pretty much as it smells. It's sweet with a fair bit of fruit and medium high bitterness. At first I wonder what the hell it's offering that it needs to be anything like as strong but after a while the firmness of the finish begins to register and I'm somewhat mollified.

Bottle care of Mr Tipple. It pours clear deep golden with a thick white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, juicy, fresh, apricot, peach, tangerine, brioche, icing sugar and candy. The taste is dry, bitter, oily, resin, aprciot, peach, grassy, straw, resinous, nectarine and earthy and some alcohol warmth finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Good boosty hop ale. Sugary sweet with a malt overload, this is a pleasingly unbitter IPA But the Malt is propping this up somewhat and if sweet beers are your thing then this is a beer for you, If you want more that hop bite and rough edge than this might not be for you
It's ok but it's just another dIPA that doesn't do enough for itself or the style to make it remarkable Pyobon (1542) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - DEC 1, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 1, 2017 (On tap) Clear pale Amber with tiny head. Aroma is pine with citrus and very subtle toffee notes. Medium body with slight pleasant stickiness and plenty of soft mouthfilling carbonation. Great taste. Backbone of sweet toffee malt provides definite balancing sweetness without being intrusive. Pine and citrus notes overlay this in the start. Pleasant hoppy bitterness in the finish. That high ABV is well hidden - barely apparent in the finish hiding amongst the hoppy bitterness. Great beer (and I think my 1500th RB review).
