Brainless Belgian-Style Golden Ale is has a rich and complex malt flavor balanced with a little bit of spicy noble hops and strong influences of fermentation esters from the Belgian yeast used. Various Belgian like Rock Candies, hops and grains are employed to express variations within the style. Deceivingly drinkable, some liken theses ales to the Devil sneaking up on you, so consume responsibly.

Bomber: A wonderfully fruity Belgian aroma, banana, clove, bubble gum, and a bit yeasty. Appearance is a clear gold with a thin white head that doesnt stick around for long. Taste is really nice, banana, nicely fruity, and just tastes good. Palate is medium mouthfeel, with an aftertaste of light yeast and fruit. Overall, Nice I like it. Cheers!

Location: 22 oz bottle from Shop Rite, 8/8/12

Aroma: The nose of this one has some funky yeast, spice/clove, and some citrus/orange
Appearance: Pours a cloudy golden-orange color with a small, fizzy head that leaves spotty lace
Flavor: The flavor is medium sweet, mostly malt, fruit, and spice flavors, with some subtle underlying funk
Palate: The body is medium (leaning light), average carbonation, a nice feel, and a lightly spicy finish
Overall Impression: This one had exactly 100 rating, well, someone had to screw that up, might as well be me! As for the beer, I enjoyed it. They did a nice job here, this one had a lot going on and some interesting complexity. Definitely worth trying.

Malty sweey belgian golden beer. Pretty much exactly what an Andy would expect for a Belgian Golden. Very bready / biscuity with tje tiniest hint of citrus.

22 oz. bottle from Root Cellar. Pours a clear gold with a finger of frothy bone white head that leaves some light lacing in the glass. Aroma of citrus fruits, straw, sweet and pale malts, mild peppery spice and herbs, candi sugar, and dried fruits. The flavor is exactly the same, but so clean and smooth. Maybe some more citrus, too. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a smooth, clean mouthfeel. Liked this one a lot, and it works better than the Peach and Cherry versions.

Poured into a snifter. Release #17, 8.5% ABV. 4.0 A: Opaque bright yellow orange color. Just under two fingers of frothy white head. Retention is average and a decent sized ring of lacing is left. 4.0 S: Bright peach and apple fruitiness with perhaps a touch of banana esters thrown in. Hay, wet grass, and apple orchard funkiness. Earthy and mildly spicy hops. Yeast gives a mild breadiness as well as notes of pepper and clove. 4.0 T: Really tasty. The peach, apple, banana meshes well with the earthy undertones - hay and apple orchard. Pleasantly spicy with pepper and clove featured. Earthy and spicy hops. Pretty much the same as the nose. 4.0 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Spritzy and lightly creamy. Good here. 4.0 D: Epic impresses again. I had the Brainless and Cherries and thought it sucked, but it seems like every new batch, they get their act together a little more. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 05-09-2012 22:29:12

Release #19. Big bright white frothy head of fine bubbles that reduces rather quickly. Light citrus and grainy aromas with some pears and spices. Color is a slightly hazy golden orange. Very, very soft malts in the flavor along with some peaches, cereal grains and some light grassy hops. Velvety smooth in the mouth. A wonderful palate. Noticable alcohol presence and warming. Lingering pears and spices finish off the brew. A very good belgian.
