Bottle shared by Darrell. Thanks man.
The beer is a light ruby color, appearing mildly hazy. Small off white head that rapidly fades to a wispy layer of sparse bubbles. The aroma is surprisingly weak, lacking any recognizable cherry presence. Odd flavor, with tart cherries and an odd, artificial sweetness. Not a fan of this one. Prickly carbonation and unpleasant lingering aftertaste. Not a repeat for me.

Bottled. A hazy dark red beer with black sediment floating around under a tan head. The aroma has notes of cherries, cinnamon, wine, and wood. The flavor is sweet with notes of cinnamon, cloves, wine, wood, and cherries, leading to a dry and slightly tart finish.

Bottled. Slightly unclear orange-reddish with almost no head. Nose of marzipan, cherries and wood. Taste is sweet and tart fruity with almondy accents. Woody notes. Quite vineous. Lovely and lively carbonation, full body and a long, lingering fruity, slightly boozy finish. Lovely. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 13, 2012
Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of nimbleprop. Pours a cloudy pale red with a small and very quickly dissipating head. Dry berry aroma, yeasty and lightly tart, lovely woodiness. Medium body, heavy carbonation, a light underlying woodiness with a sulphurous touch. Some warming alcohol. Nice one with a great barrel character. 131112 Darwenus (1136) - Virginia, USA - NOV 9, 2012
Did not enjoy. Didn’t even finish it. The color is a pleasant peach tea color, an it has a lot of noisy carbonation. The head rose quickly and then faded, like a soda. The smell is mild, bready malt and cherries, and the flavor is too sweet, too front loaded, and too crisp and watery in the finish. Not good.
