This curiously red colored beer has a sweet aroma of fruit. It has a strong taste if wine much like a sparkling wine made from red grapes. Very unique and good.

This beer has a pink amber appearance. The aroma has cherry, yeast, and some apple. The taste is somewhat dry, and a bit sour. The palate is invigorating. It’s quite good. I recommend this if you want a fruit beer without much sweetness. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - JUL 24, 2013
Bottle. Pours a hazy reddish brown color with effectively no head on it. Nose has some dark fruit elements (i.e., cherries), and just a little bit of feet in there. Taste smacks of cherry (which I hate, which is why I’m making my wife drink most of this), and I can’t get beyond that. Really don’t like that, but it’s because of the fruit. an older bottle. Lower carbonation. Aroma of sour cherry, red wine. Sweet, but in no way cloying or syrupy. Sour cherry, with traces of red wine and oak. Nicely integrated. Still a very slight bit of alcohol detected but not enough to burn. Grab a couple bottles and let them age. Braudog (6716) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JUL 17, 2013
Bottle, Batch 14. Looks like cherry juice, even and fire engine red, almost no fizz or head. Not really much of an aroma, but drinks like cherry candied liqueur, with just a slight alcohol burn, and quite well balanced. Very nice overall. (#5166, 7/7/2013)

Nicely integrates the barrel, slightly sour, dangerously drinkable. Low carbonation and finishes sweet but not syrupy tricyclist (1125) - Florida, USA - JUL 13, 2013
I wanted so much out of this. Pours a faint pink gold with fluffed white head. Nose was tart cherries and mild Belgian yeasty spice. Flavor was spiced cherries, not that enjoyable. I wanted it to be better. Smooth body... KansaiBeerLvrs (5156) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUL 10, 2013
UPDATED: SEP 15, 2014 11.4% release 14, bottle picked up from the distributors at the Yokohama Brewer’s Cup. It pours like a golden belgian ale with a heavy pink tint, the color is a light red with a sparkling wine like carbonation with no head. The aroma is a musty wine red with hints of sweet fruity cherries-some belgian notes sneak through. The taste is really boozy, bitter with a dry cherry finish. nice enough but it packs a high ABV punch which kind of overpowers everything else. I would prefer this to be in the 7-8% range. It is definitely too boozy which gives it a wine coolerish flavor profile. Not as good as what I was expecting, I preferred the Brainless on Peaches. -----had a later batch last night which seemed much less boozy. A deep ruby pour with an oaky cherry aroma. The taste is very tart and earthy not at all balanced but nice enough... Blairgus (4613) - California, USA - JUL 6, 2013
6 July 2013, tap. Yellow, clear, no bubbles. Nose is a bit winey. Thin body and moderately fizzy. Sugary, white grapes, moderate alcohol. Ok.

Bottle at home, from the Beer Shop LTD, E Longmeadow. Release #11. 10.7% ABV.
Hazed crimson with little in the way of head.
Nose is glazed cherries, booze, sugars.
Taste comprises cherries, booze, sugars, berry fruits, cherry jam.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, light sugars and booze.
Bit of a one trick pony. All cherries and a slightly unrefined booze flavour.
Drinkable but expected more !
