Batch 22. Red wine and cherry nose. Mild cherry flavor with red wine feel and tannins and almost port flavor finish. Great dessert drink, but that’s about it. degbert (1773) - Austin, Texas, USA - SEP 23, 2014
Bottle, batch #27. Pours a deep red with a light, fine-grained, fast-dissipating head. Nose is cherry pie (accent on the crust), slight Belgian funk, and yeastiness -- but it’s not very strong at all. Odd medicinal flavor up front; I really want to like this, but I can’t shake the feeling that what I have here is carbonated Robitussin, all the way down the herbal edge. Finish is saccharine-bitter and unpleasant. Do I have a bad bottle? travita (5006) - Dallas, Texas, USA - SEP 21, 2014
Tap. The look is clear, thin no head, amber colored. The smell is wine, pickles, fruit, vinegar, Brett, and not sure. The taste is cherry, fruit, wine, tang, and ok. jkwalking05 (4740) - Arlington, Texas, USA - SEP 21, 2014
On tap at World of Beer in Arlington. Amber in color with a small off-white head. Aroma is of cherries, candy sugar, light fruity undertones, and cream soda. Taste is of cherries, candy sugar, caramel, and fruit loops. 77ships (9827) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - SEP 14, 2014
THANKS to Randy! 65 cl. bottle split by 4 @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Batch 12. Reddish amber, zero head whatsoever no mater how hard you pour, head instantly vanishes. Sweet cherry juice nose with light cheese. Taste is sweet cherry, cherry candy, gelatine candy, light sweet wine, faint spices,…. Body is quite akin to touch thicker juice. Nice but not stellar & the price is crazy. Also how is this not listed as a fruit beer on RB?

Tap. Pours bright orange with white head. Aroma is very strong Belgian yeast, cherry, fruit, spice. Taste is very winey with good cherry flavor. A bit medicinal but good. chucklemation (1684) - Royal Oak, Michigan, USA - SEP 11, 2014
Pours a ruby red with a white foam head that fizzles away quickly. Aroma is mainly cherries along with some Belgian yeast. Flavor is slightly sweet cherries and Belgian yeast. Has plenty of carbonation. My least favorite of the Brainless series so far, but still quite tasty. monk191 (1978) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 23, 2014
Cherries just do not work with beer. Have yet to have one that we like. Pours a fairly bright red with little head. Smells a bit of cherries and red wine. Lots of cherries in the taste, a bit sour, some lambic in the finish. Couldn't have a whole glass of it. Had on tap at the brewery. BelgianBeerGal (4066) - Panama City, Florida, USA - AUG 17, 2014
Draft sample at the annex. Reddish orange pour with a white ring around the edges. Light aroma of cranberry cocktail juice. Flavor is dry wine with a hint of fruit. Nice. BeerandBlues2 (13323) - Escondido, California, USA - AUG 17, 2014
Bottle at home. Pours clear dark amber with a small, fizzy off-white head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is cherry, oak, vinous notes and toast, cookie malt, light earthy hops and yeast. Flavor is toasted malt, cherry, vinous notes and oak, light hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.
