Reddish pour, small tannish head. Aroma of cherries, light wine notes, yeast. Flavor is drier than I remember, nice yeasty notes, cherries and sugar cookies. RmmHronek (170) - Greensboro, North Carolina, USA - OCT 19, 2012
Very interesting. I don’t understand what is so Belgian about it, outside of the fact that it has cherries in it and it was aged on oak. It is listed at 10.7% alcohol, but you don’t get any heat at all. It has a nice cloudy, red color and pinkish head. It’s really, really good. Subtle flavors, nothing over the top and there is a slight vegetal funk on the nose. It’s pretty cool. pfriesen (113) - Richmond Hill, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 13, 2013
Nicely integrates the barrel, slightly sour, dangerously drinkable. Low carbonation and finishes sweet but not syrupy peponi (1857) - Hannover, GERMANY - JUL 15, 2015
Aroma: cherries, sweet, belgian zesty notes, peachy.
Appearance: amber-reddish color, nice white head.
Taste: almost no bitterness, amazing balance between sweetness and sour cherries notes, peach, zesty, nice dry champagne finish, perfectly covered alcohol, woody and some vanilla notes.
Palate: medium body and medium carbonation.
Overall: Great beer, complex taste, perfectly desgined beer. JoePeesie (925) - Long Lake, Illinois, USA - FEB 23, 2012

Release #5 courtesy of douglas88 pours deep clear cherry juice with white head trimmed with a light pinkish hue. The aroma has some apples and pears as well as some fruity sourness, tartness and then yeasty spices. The taste has a great play going on between tart red wine notes, spicy oak, sweet apples and pears, some sour fruitiness and then rolling into soft spongy yeasty spiciness. This beer is really hitting the spot as all the conflicting notes come together with harmony. Yummers! lana5 (62) - Canton, Michigan, USA - SEP 27, 2014
Batch 22, delicious smell. Tastes of cherries and is sweet but not overly sweet. Pretty tasty. dwyerpg (6180) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAR 10, 2013
The last of the brainless tasting my friends and I enjoyed inside the tent in Zion while it rained cats and dogs slash snowed outside and we were pretty good by this point. Cherries are definitely prominent but in a sweet way. Possibly the best of the bunch, though I do love raspberries more as just the fruit. curepute (141) - New York, USA - FEB 23, 2014
Release #27 abv% 10.8. Grape wine color, no head. Sour Cherry cider nose. Slightly sour cherries, soft red wine notes, hint of funk. Never tasted anything like this, very unusual. Finishes with a nice dryness. great. MunBro (942) - St. Albert, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 18, 2015
Aroma of subtle cherries and woods. Wow this has a complex flavour. Getting a very nice cherry flavour up front layered with woody notes, along with a hint of smokiness and spices.
