3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap 12 oz. pour into a New Belgium globe glass. Pours a slightly hazy pinkish golden color with a medium sized head that leaves ok lacing. Smells of raspberry, Belgian yeast, peppery, and a funky sour smell. Tastes of the same things in the smell with the peppery raspberry flavor being the forefront then a slightly sour aftertaste. Mouthfeel is medium and chewy with good carbon and a semi dry finish. Petty good fruit/sour beer I like how all the flavors and ingredient played off each other. Very well done.
Shared bomber poured to snifters displaying a clear, copper color, with a modest layer of bubbly white foam, and spots of lacing. The nose was raspberry, candy sweetness, and a bit of vanilla wafer. Medium bodied, with average carbonation, the taste was as raspberry syrup, like you'd add to embellish a Berliner Weisse, with slight hints of cocoa & tea, and subtle tartness to the finish. Not a big Fruit Beer fan, but this was nicely presented. GarrettB (1634) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 7, 2017
December 30th, 2014 - I’ve always enjoyed the Brainless series as local sour fruit beers go. But this is the first time trying the Brainless Raspberries, a lovely pink brew with a refreshing clarity and just the thinnest of heads. The aroma reminds me of sweet cotton candy, decorated with fresh raspberries and chunks of watermelon, with a crescent of strawberry in there too. The taste is more sour than the aroma promises, but darkness quickly, getting malty almost like New Belgium’s Frambozen. It is a fascinating brew that changes suddenly, which always scores well with me. unclemike (3170) - Junction City Kansas, Kansas, USA - JUN 12, 2017
poured a clear salmon with a lasting pink head. Aromas of raspberry and cookie. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of bread and raspberry with a smooth lingering raspberry finish. blipp (9590) - La Mesa, California, USA - MAY 29, 2017
Draft. Pours reddish amber with a white head. Jammy raspberry sweetness, mild acidity, and a fresh jammy finish. Tasty. obxdude10 (2366) - Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 16, 2017
22oz bottle from Wegmans in Collegeville. This beer poured a light orange color with a pink hue and no head. There was no lacing left around the glass either. The nose was full of raspberries and the flavors were overpowering with the fruit. There was hardly a trace of the alcohol content in this beer. This seemed more like a fruity mixed drink than a beer.

Bottle tasted on the 25/03/2017 at the Barcelona Beer Festival. Clear reddish amber colour with a minimal and fizzy head. Aroma of raspberries, syrup and light medicinal. Taste has lots of medicinal and sweet raspberries. Light carbonation and body. Not for me. Next one please!

Color rojizo transparente, con una corona de color rosa con un aroma inicial a frambuesa. sabor frutal con algun toque especidado y ligero final agrio. JStax (7123) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - FEB 14, 2017
22 ounce bottle poured into a tulip glass. The beer is a cleqr copper color with a white head of foam. Good head retention. The aroma has fruity raspberry and doughy bread. Sweet and fruity taste. Medium body and medium carbonation. Maybe the fruit has diminished, but this seems a little subtle on the raspberry, at least for my preference.
