An ale made with organic brown rice. Very drinkable and quenching! The taste is super clean, almost lager like, with a hint of spiciness and clean nutty brown rice finish. NOT a Gluten Free Beer! Perfect for late afternoon picnic or a barbeque going long into the night. Color is light.

Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 10, 2012
Bomber, Release #7. Poured cloudy medium orange with a nice cap of beige head. The aroma picked up sweet rice, dark bread, and a touch of molasses with earth and lesser fruity accents.. fresh and interesting, but not super enticing. The flavor found similar malts at the core, with slightly tangy herbal and earthy notes laced throughout.. finished a little metallic. Light-medium bodied with moderate carbonation on the palate.. buttery on the middle, but not as pleasant around.. OK overall.

Nose of grainy rice notes, a little sweetness, a touch of earthy notes as well. Smells to me like that japanese brown rice green tea. Fucking good, i like that shit. Pours amber, thin fizzy head. Flavors of that good ass japanese brown rice tea, light sweetness, a little toasty and earthy, grain, rice is there. Crisp finish, dry, quenching. Really good specialty grain beer. I enjoyed it.

Butters (4059) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - APR 21, 2012
Sampled at Slutfest 3. Light amber pour with ring of white head. Kinda sweet and malty caramel. pale ale qualities also. I don’t know what the brown rice adds. Not bad. not good.

nimbleprop (8377) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - MAR 27, 2012
22oz bottle pours a clear orange with one ring of white head. Nose is honey, vegetal, carrots. Flavor is kind of gross, garbage, rotten cabbage, a little bitterness. Medium bodied, gross finish.

MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAR 25, 2012
hazy gold-tan, thin white ring with wisps. Nose is soft rice, wheat and grain, bit watery and flat. Flavor is soft grain, rice, light citrus through finish. Pleasant but dull.

GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 11, 2012
651mL. Clear golden pour with smaller white head. Small chunkies in the glass. Fruity, sweet nose with sweet cherry juice and children's juice box with plastic. Taste is neutral, watery, sharp grainy. Pretty bland overall. Not sure what makes this better than just typical pale lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - MAR 11, 2012
22oz bottle: Pours a clear deep golden brass with a spotty-lacing white head. Has a mild grainy and semi-sweet nose. Starts with average fullness and effervescent carbonation with an earthy grainy maltiness and some grassy hop bitterness before a smooth bittersweet finish. Fairly drinkable, but nothing too exciting.

BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - JAN 19, 2012
Brown in color, clear with a thin tan head. Nice brown roast malt. Nutty and rice like aroma and flavors. Dry finish this was a very tasty specialty grain brew,

Bomber from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA, opened 4/26/11. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized creamy white head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of rice, floral hops and faint nutty notes. The taste is very much similar with a bit of apple and caramel as well. Medium bodied. Decent beer.
