Bottle. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted malt and grain aroma. Medium body and a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where not met with this beer. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 10, 2011

Bottle. Pours clear to lightly hazy orange with a medium, frothy white head, medium-short retention with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cereal, grain, meal), light hops (earthy), and light esters (fruity) with notes of nutty brown rice. Flavor is heavy malt (cereal, grain, meal), light hops (earthy), and light esters (fruity) with notes of nutty brown rice. Light body, low warmth, medium carbonation, and a dry finish. The clean nuttiness of the brown rice gives it a near lager-like flavor. alexsdad06 (10430) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 10, 2013
22 oz. bottle shared by DanielCoor. Pours a hazy orange golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have grainy, pale malts, hints of mild spices, lightly toasted, some earth with a mild bitterness to the finish. Pretty mild from start to finish. Not one of my favorites from these guys.

22 oz. bottle shared by DanielCoor- thanks, Danny! Release #9. Pours a hazy gold with a small white head. Aroma of pale malts, brown rice graininess, straw, dried fruits. The flavor is a slightly better version of the same, where the brown rice and even a bit of hops are more distinguishable. Light-bodied, with a smooth mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Not much to it, but not bad. sebletitje (10080) - Enghien, BELGIUM - JAN 8, 2011
651mL. Clear golden pour with smaller white head. Small chunkies in the glass. Fruity, sweet nose with sweet cherry juice and children's juice box with plastic. Taste is neutral, watery, sharp grainy. Pretty bland overall. Not sure what makes this better than just typical pale lager.

Good toasty, grainy malt bill. Light citrusy hop to it. Moderate bitter taste, light sweet. Solid, easy-drinking smooth brown rice ale.. UPDATED: JAN 3, 2011 22 ounce bottle shared by Timbo, thanks man! A interesting beer. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a small white head. The aroma is sweet grains, honey, unusual and certainly akin to brown rice. The flavor is smooth and very easygoing; rich grainy/earthy rich flavors, citrus, oranges, light hops. Very interesting.
