Made with classic Pacific Northwest Cascade, Centennial, Mt. Hood in the boil and dry hopped with more Cascade hops. Cascade aroma dominates the nose, so be sure to sniff it like a wine snob. Plenty of ultra premium Maris Otter malt and three specialty malts give the beer a nice smooth sailing biscuit like aroma and body, some sweetness, well balanced against 5.8% alcohol by volume.

Clear golden ish copper, thin ring of white head. The nose smells very ’German’ with some mildly earthy biscuit and toast, with a subdued but very present grassy hop tone. Flavor starts with some toffee and strong leafy/grassy hop tones, a bit of marzen flavors, biscuit, leafy bitterness, and lots of lagered toast flavors. Interesting. And delightful!

651 ml. bottle. Pours a thick, gradually diminishing white head, with heavy lacing, over a very slightly hazy, dark amber (SRM 15) body....nose is cereal, light pine, hints of citrus peel, light toffee/caramel.....taste is light cereal, hints of sweetness with toffee/caramel tones, leading to a moderate pine, citrus bitterness.....mouth feel medium, slightly sticky, carbonation low with light acid on the finish. This is very nicely balanced. The bitterness is lower than many in this style. BJCP 8/2/14/4/6

Think it’s lame Epic renames an existing beer to market to Denver....really you couldn’t come up with something a bit different? Oh well, at least it’s agood beer. Deep orange. Malt and light caramel nose with some orange citrus. Taste is biscuit malt and round palate with balanced bitterness. Nice pale ale.

651mL. Clear orange pour. Okay white foam. Nose is malty, mild fresh orange, flashes of rhubarb and sweet vegetables. Taste is a tad citrusy, juicy, not bad, gristy pale malt body. Raw, bitter oatmeal finish.

hman43 (1588) - Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA - NOV 9, 2013
The aroma pleasantly strong with a sweet smell like citrus with a blend of other bread aromas. It has a deep golden, hazy color with a off white fluffy head that has medium body to it. It has a pleasant taste of malt that is reminiscent of bread and cereal. It is creamy and lively with a slightly bitter aftertaste.
