Just a damn pretty APA, great color and excellent head and lacing. Nose is a whiff of slightly floral, citric hops and indications of a very strong biscuity malt background. The taste opens with a light amount of the indicated citrus hoppiness but leans much more heavily towards an herbal characteristic strangely reminiscent of Saison du Buff. Finish is strong biscuit/cracker malt. Good beer. BückDich (5464) - McCall, Idaho, USA - DEC 13, 2010
Bottle: pours a hazy copper color with a nice sticky white head. The nose is full and citrusy with some nice caramel notes. The flavor is hop forward with some light nice citrus qualities and an underlying malt base. Balanced finish and a big citrus bite. alexsdad06 (10640) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - DEC 15, 2010
22 oz. bottle from footbalm. Pours a clear dark golden color with a medium sized creamy white head. The aroma is floral, moderately sweet orange citrus and pale biscuity malts. The flavor has more grapefruit that adds a nice bitterness to the finish. Pale malts, some sweetness early before becoming more bitter in the finish. A hint of black pepper is also noticeable in the finish. Medium bodied and a nice flavorful pale ale. onceblind (10320) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 22, 2014
Clear golden ish copper, thin ring of white head. The nose smells very ’German’ with some mildly earthy biscuit and toast, with a subdued but very present grassy hop tone. Flavor starts with some toffee and strong leafy/grassy hop tones, a bit of marzen flavors, biscuit, leafy bitterness, and lots of lagered toast flavors. Interesting. And delightful! colui72 (1085) - HONG KONG - AUG 23, 2015
Amber with creamy medium head. Aroma is fruity and malty. Taste follows, no much hops. But a farly good APA!

22oz Bottle Thanks to Sam. Pours out a rich golden topped with a small cream head. Aroma was of citrus hops, caramel malts, and a little floral. Taste was more of the citrus and sweetness. I have to say Epic is putting together some really good APA’s.

Shiny penny pour with a thick bubbly ivory head that clung tightly to the inside of the glass. Aroma of grapefruit, peppery spice, buttermilk biscuit, with a tropical influence. Flavor is similar with pine and spicy notes...another good one by Epic. nbutler11 (1267) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - AUG 18, 2011
Bottle from Epic. Pours a warm orange color with an off-white head. Smells and tastes of orange zest, bitter hops, salt, and malt. Balanced and easy drinking. Great for the style. hellbilly (3247) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - NOV 4, 2011
