Bottle from Cornelius - a £2.00 bargain for a best before July 2014 bottle. Hazy amber body with a thick off-white head. Steady carbonation. Excellent lacing. Aroma of mashed strawberry, overripe mango, pineapple, lime and a hint of onion. Flavour brings more mango, herbs, orange and a green apple finish. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. If Carlsberg did out-of-date beers... Well, they might be good, but not as good as this. cgarvieuk (26360) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 15, 2014

500ml bottle from Valhalla’s Goat. Orange amber brown, reasonable head. Grain hop aroma. Light hoppy flavour. Bitter aftertaste. Not as intense as most IPAs. More an American Pale Ale. zacgillbanks (5651) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - JUL 5, 2014
Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. Amber coloured with orange marmalade and pine flavours followed by a creamy tropical fruit finish. Linnet (1935) - Karlstad, SWEDEN - JUN 21, 2014
Hoppy, resinous, grapefruity, bready, citric.amber colour, medium off-white head, lacing.
Big assertive bite, light sweetness, spicy, ABV not noticable.
Light body, soft carbonation, short finish.
Not as impressive as I ’ve come to expect from Epic, but still a quality brew.

UPDATED: MAY 18, 2014 From a 500ml bottle on 13/5/2014. Pours a very deep golden with a small head. Has a quite sharp hop aroma with quite a bit of resin and pine. The sharpness is there in the flavour as well. There’s some sweet fruit and caramel in the mix, but the bittering, lingering hops hold sway. It has a slightly strange metallic taste to it. A couple of other reviewers talk about smelling/tasting some onion, and I kinda get that. It has a medium body and quite lively carbonation. I’m not sure about this one. It has a lot of personality but it just doesn’t hit the bullseye. Quite different and definitely worth a try - nice but not top flight. BenH (3431) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 9, 2014
Bottle. Golden with white head. Slight;y strange aroma of grapefruit, citrus and onion. Taste is a bit less oniony but still sharp, citrusy. Medium body with a bitter finish. Decent
