Nice aroma I get a caramel citrus flavor , its a nice golden color . Although the head dropped off quite quick , good lacing thou . I love the bitter after taste that a good IPA gives and this doesn’t disappoint . There’s also some nice sweet malt taste there . It’s got a nice medium feel body , slightly oily and a quick swish in the mouth brings back the carbonation , and oh the after taste . Overall this is a real nice drinkable beer . Wish I’d brought more of them

Rusty orange golden, decent eggshell white head but fades quickly to filmy/ringed. Bright, boiled cabbage and onion sweaty nose. Light and clean pine, softest tropical fruits - lightly gummy sweet. Similar softness on the fruit front, glugs of citrus throughout and crisp passionfruit. Melon/pineapple thread in the middle . Very drinkable moderate carbonation. Sweet light maltiness creeps in as it opens up, but the finish is snappy lime.

Bottle, Cornelius, Edinburgh

500 ml bottle from Redmonds. Light amber, thin head. Gorgeous sweet, perfume, caramel biscuit nose, floral notes. Flavour follows the nose closely, moderate bitterness toward the finish. Light enough body, slick in the mouth, fairly forward carbonation.

Really solid work from Epic. Looks and smells great, has a nice flavour profile and good bitterness. Probably the best in the series yet.

Caramely nose, Hop character is light and citrusy. I like the malt profile being light and easy drinking for a bigger beer. Never thought id say this but I though the hop character was a bit light and could be bigger and more dry hopped. The beer hop profile seems thinner than the others in the Epic range. A solid beer however and I would buy again.

Nice beer. Well balanced to malt becoming slightly more predominant. Slight dry bitterness and pine hop flavour / aroma. A very easy drinking beer, surprised me a touch.

Bottle from Plonk. Clear, dark amber, medium frothy, creamy head, grass, pine, lemon zest, sour grapes, quite dry bitterness, some malt sweetness, full body, slightly oily, slick texture. Very good.

kerrmatt (33) - NEW ZEALAND - NOV 29, 2013
500ml bottle. Pour is about as good as they come for an IPA. A nice creamy head with a slight oily overlay and clear glowing amber liquid. Aromas of pine, caramel, toast and floral hops. Strong carbonation but not overly effervescent, nicely done. Very crisp refreshing beer. Nice earthy flavours of pine, malt, tamari, floral and a little citrus.

Brenhophead (695) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - NOV 4, 2013
500mL bottle. Pours a deep golden/amber with an off white head and a nice caramel berry/sherbet like aroma. More of the sweet berry sherbet in the flavour but very little caramel. Nice hop but not exceptional.
