Jeez the kiwis do this style well - hop forward as I like it - not so much tropical fruits (although that’s there in the background) more herbal hoppiness but very satisfying - just needs a tad more body to really get the highest points from me - but I like it and will seek out again. kerrmatt (33) - NEW ZEALAND - NOV 29, 2013
500ml bottle. Pour is about as good as they come for an IPA. A nice creamy head with a slight oily overlay and clear glowing amber liquid. Aromas of pine, caramel, toast and floral hops. Strong carbonation but not overly effervescent, nicely done. Very crisp refreshing beer. Nice earthy flavours of pine, malt, tamari, floral and a little citrus. Wow nice beer again from epic. Great clear bright amber poor with minimal head and a pleasant carbonation. Aroma of pine resin. Taste is bitter but pleasant, the malt provides a backbone but does not intrude in any way. A balance but more leaning toward bitter hop goodness. Flavour is great resiny hopy pineness. This is a great beer after night shift when the mouth has been feeling a bit cotton wooly great stuff. kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 11, 2013
The head is robust, the body orange-brown. It smells hopintensive, aromatic, malty. The taste is hopintensive, hoparomatic, fruity, flowery, maltintensive, aromatic, Great Super! 13/12/13/13/11/13 4.2 Sideshow11 (13) - NEW ZEALAND - FEB 26, 2014
Nice aroma I get a caramel citrus flavor , its a nice golden color . Although the head dropped off quite quick , good lacing thou . I love the bitter after taste that a good IPA gives and this doesn’t disappoint . There’s also some nice sweet malt taste there . It’s got a nice medium feel body , slightly oily and a quick swish in the mouth brings back the carbonation , and oh the after taste .
Overall this is a real nice drinkable beer . Wish I’d brought more of them

Bottle from mane liquor. Pours a deep golden with small head. Nose is heavy tropical fruit, mango and passionfruit. Taste is lovely tropical fruit hoppiness with a dry bitter finish. Lovely beer.

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. Amber coloured with orange marmalade and pine flavours followed by a creamy tropical fruit finish. jamestulloch (4268) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 21, 2014
Bottle from Cornelius - a £2.00 bargain for a best before July 2014 bottle. Hazy amber body with a thick off-white head. Steady carbonation. Excellent lacing. Aroma of mashed strawberry, overripe mango, pineapple, lime and a hint of onion. Flavour brings more mango, herbs, orange and a green apple finish. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. If Carlsberg did out-of-date beers... Well, they might be good, but not as good as this.
