Copper Cone Pale Ale is a special offering, aroma rich, pale ale that may vary the hops, malts and even sometime the yeast used. Typically this beer is an “over the top” Pale Ale with a deep copper color and loads of dry hopping going into each batch. The fresh hop aroma of this beer makes it a stand out. Stronger in alcohol and body than CAPT’N CROMPTON’S PALE ALE and appeals to beer aficionados.

Pour from 22oz. Hazy copper color. Taste is carmel, somewhat hoppy. Thick for a pale ale.

SlackerMads (3523) - DENMARK - DEC 30, 2012
Bottle shared with MF666. Hazy dark amber with small off white head. Aroma is sweet with caramel and hop notes of tropical tropical fruits, mostly peach and pineapple. Taste is mild sweet and follows the nose with caramel and the same tropical fruit notes. Mild and soft with little bitterness.

theoncle (62) - Barcelona, SPAIN - DEC 29, 2012
Ampolla 65cl. APA molt ben feta i molt ben equilibrada. No es excessivament amarga sense perdre la personalitat d’ American Pale Ale.

zimbo (971) - SCOTLAND - DEC 29, 2012
Light brown. Clear. Super fluffy complex sticky white head. Smooth body but the end edge could be more pleasant.

madvike (3301) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 11, 2012
Release 36, bottled on 10/31/12--Pours slightly cloudy amber with a foamy off-white head. Nose is a bit of nail polish, grassy/herbal/onion hops, and a dry, bready malt backbone. Taste starts off with the hops, herbal and grassy, then transitions into a big bready malt base. Finishes with herbal/garlic hops and big waves of breadiness. Pretty thick and creamy in the mouth. This is a fairly fresh bottle, but man I don’t get the appeal of it. Too sweet, too sharp, and too malty. Bleh.

Beerman6686 (6611) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 10, 2012
This poured a dark amber to red color with a beige head. Aroma was of light piney hops, caramel and toasted malt. Flavor was moderately bitter, some nuttyness and caramel notes, but not much hop flavor too. Meh.

spacecube (1768) - Leeds, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 7, 2012
Golden brown pour, medium carbonation, big aroma, caramel malts, floral hops, citrus hops, orange peel, quite sweet, nicely balanced and moderate bitter finish. This was release 30, I enjoyed this a lot
