Copper Cone Pale Ale is a special offering, aroma rich, pale ale that may vary the hops, malts and even sometime the yeast used. Typically this beer is an “over the top” Pale Ale with a deep copper color and loads of dry hopping going into each batch. The fresh hop aroma of this beer makes it a stand out. Stronger in alcohol and body than CAPT’N CROMPTON’S PALE ALE and appeals to beer aficionados.

Great tasting beer. Beer like this makes me happy because it shows my city is really coming around as far as brewing.

Bottle - release number 30, cloudy amber colour with slim, off-white head, prone to lacing. Aroma of hops, caramel, pine and malts - smells balanced. Tastes the same, nice bitter finish, medium bodied, soft carbonation. Very good pale ale.

BrewMstr (194) - Pleasant View, Utah, USA - JAN 13, 2014
Great pale ale, as advertised better than Crompton! Overall solid aroma, taste, appearance, and palate. Epic makes better IPA’s but this works for something a little less aggressive.

Poured as a taster at Denver taproom. citrus and resin on nose, copper color, mostly resin on palate, lots of dark malt flavors wo/ being very dark. Finish was a little bit unpleasant for me and I think it was from the dark malt notes at the end.

POLK (2219) - Hørning, DENMARK - DEC 27, 2013
Unclear / brown color. Good hoppy, full-bodied pale ale. Well carbonated. Missing a little on the hop front.

Checking this one off the list after being on there for seemingly forever. Thanks jesterdeal. Lots of spruce and pine as the name suggests. Nice caramel malt body to smooth things out a bit. Full bodied and pretty nice. The spruce does not knock you over as another up front ipa might.

Lowenbrau (4729) - Asturias, SPAIN - NOV 5, 2013
65cl bottle. Shared with Andrés Lúpulo. Fruity, caramel, spicy aromas. Pours hazy orange, with frothy off-white head, persistent, good lacing. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Taste is caramel, ripe fruit, spicy, some earthy, deep flavours, balanced and enjoyable. Quite nice.

burg326 (5608) - Florida, USA - NOV 2, 2013
Poured an amber color with aromas of grapefruit, pine, light citrus, and some malt. Flavors are the same, decent pale ale overall, thanks Cory for sharing before softball.

MrHangover (4693) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - OCT 11, 2013
Tap @ the brewery tap room. Pours a clear amber, rusty colored beer with a thin white head on top. Aroma is very well hopped, caramel and citrus going on. Flavour is nicely bitter, bitterness keeps building up to the finish, finishing dry and bitter. Slight touch of caramel in the very finish of this beer. Lovely brew.

kermis (14567) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - OCT 11, 2013
Draft sample at Epic Brewing taproom, Denver. Pours hazy amber with an off white head. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus, pine, resin and light caramel malt. Flavour is over moderate sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.
