Copper Cone Pale Ale is a special offering, aroma rich, pale ale that may vary the hops, malts and even sometime the yeast used. Typically this beer is an “over the top” Pale Ale with a deep copper color and loads of dry hopping going into each batch. The fresh hop aroma of this beer makes it a stand out. Stronger in alcohol and body than CAPT’N CROMPTON’S PALE ALE and appeals to beer aficionados.

Pour: A deep bronze, rich bronze off-white head, with nice lacing all the way to finish, leaving the history of each drink on the glass. Nose: strong fresh hop, pine, slight yeast doughiness. Taste: mouthfeel a bit soapy, dry pinyon hop taste, sticky sweet pale malt, and grapefruit. Really like the hoppy freshness of this pale.

Orange jam, cinnamon, caramel, cedar and balsamic notes on the nose (mint, eucalyptus?). Medium bodied, smooth carbonation, tasty and well balanced. Not suitable for the IPA milkshake lovers. Probably I’m a bit played out but I loved it.

kaserov (1103) - Oviedo, SPAIN - APR 20, 2017
Color cobrizo, casi ámbar, turbio, con capa de espuma de un blanco amarillento de tres dedos de grosor (buena retención). Aroma a cítricos y malta (mucho cereal).

Tasting at Matt’s, release #79, 6.7%
Hazy copper to amber color.Biscuity caramel tones, mild residual sweetness, resiny and piney hopping, with orange pel, and some astringency in the final.
Somewhere between APA and old style IPA, quite good.

650ml bottle @ Matt’s. Release #79. Pours a cloudy brown colour with a thin off-white head. Nose is light with mildly hopped note and some malty aspects. Flavour is earthy, hops bitterness that is kept in check by some sweet malts.

Oakes (19426) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 16, 2017
Hazy light amber. No head. This isn’t bad - toasty, light orangey hop notes. A nice balanced amber, orangey hops come through. It’s basic, but well-made.

mcberko (19837) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 16, 2017
22 oz. bottle, pours an opaque dark amber orange brown with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, toasted caramel and some old, stale bread. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted caramel, resinous hops, and again the stale bready notes. Probably not fresh, but still pleasant with the hop resins and caramel. Wish this were fresher, so I’ll be generous with my rating. Decent.

Batch #95 since rate beer is fucking anal about variants. Free yourselves Aroma is honey and earthy flavor is sweet, honey, and some balanced out hopps. Pours cloudy copper with a tan head. Best yet of the random case I bought in Utah ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
