Yup, she pours copper with a creamy frothy head that slowly settles to a spattered pancake. Classic hop aroma. Full nectar with ample creamy carbonation. Very nice! This brew has sublime balance. Hop and malt components are intermingled broadcasting their unique presence in time with one another. A bit of caramel shows up after it warms. The finish lingers with a bit of aspirin numbness on the tongue. The brew master hit this one dead on. Awesome! portableparty (2362) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - JUN 12, 2011
Bottle (release#11). dark copper amber pour with a foamy off white head that fades to a sticky film with solid lacing. Aroma is bitter hops and good malt tones scents of caramel and pine. Taste is awesome caramel malt sugar and bitter hops. Palate is medium sticky chaulky and finishes dry. This is so good the hop are strong with this one. Well done, more please! robgibbens (432) - Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA - JAN 19, 2012
Dark copper color with 1.5" head! There is a lot of lacing. I am guessing that "cone" in the name refers to hop cones because that aroma is like grabbing a handful of fresh floral hop leaves. Taste is mild, a bit bitter but nicely balanced. Crisp finish and flavorful. Very well done! mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - DEC 28, 2014
Easily one of the best PAs I’ve had. My can’s clocking in at 5.2% ABV. Here’s what I get. Flavorful beyond words for this style as well as for this ABV, and an incredibly amazing malt backbone. Highly recommended. My rating reflects the style and the ABV. polomagnifico (1202) - Saginaw, Michigan, USA - SEP 3, 2012
Bottle, batch 42. Aroma has notes of caramel, citrus and grassy hops. Distinct pale ale but in a really good way. Medium to dark amber hue with a large off-white head that left good lace. Flavor is very sweet and bitter. Palate is full bodied and oily soft. Overall a wonderful beer. Great nose, looks, flavor and palate. Well done Epic!

Footbalm, making it happen. SpottieOttieDopaliscious. "I walked up on her and was almost paralyzed, her neck was smelling sweeter than a plate of yams with extra syrup" "smooth like a hot comb on nappy ass hair". Tasted like a hop and orange juice elixir, a-m-a-z-i-n-g. Don’t get caught with your pants down, kids. Find a way to get this brew into your mouth hole! Sledutah (7722) - Utah, USA - MAY 9, 2010
22oz bottle from Timbo, thank man! zizzybalubba (1873) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - SEP 20, 2011
Appearance: Hazy amber with a nice sized off-white head and lots of lacing
Aroma: Sweet citrus, floral and pine
Taste: Smooth and full mouthfeel, piney and citrus
Wow, this is a great APA. Clean and crisp, well balanced. I’m looking forward to pick some more of these up next week.
22 oz. bottle (Release #10) from Total Wine in Norfolk, VA. Hazy dark orange pour with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit, tangerine, and pine. Bright hoppy flavor that does not disappoint with pineapple, grapefruit rind, and pine needles most notably and just a touch of malty sweetness to balance. The hops, although assertive, are not overpowering although this leans more toward what I would consider an IPA rather than a pale ale. Within the American pale ale category you would be hard pressed to find many better beers. Very well done. GODiSSOUTHERN (390) - Virginia, USA - DEC 15, 2011
Very impressive. Pours a beautiful copper with a small head. The aroma is all hops. Just enough sweetness from the malt to balance it out while still having the hops as the focus. Citrusy, piney, and a little fruit with a nice clean finish. spacecube (1732) - Leeds, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 7, 2012
Golden brown pour, medium carbonation, big aroma, caramel malts, floral hops, citrus hops, orange peel, quite sweet, nicely balanced and moderate bitter finish. This was release 30, I enjoyed this a lot
