Rating #2636 - 2016.06.27 - Sample at "taproom" in SLC. Dark brown pour with a tan head that fades fairly slowly. Mild-medium carbonation. Aroma is roasted coffee beans, cocoa, hint of toffee and earth Taste is earthy, roasty, dry, yet balanced finish. Cocoa and vanilla sweetness lingers on the pallet. Very nice.

AgentAle (1807) - Alberta, CANADA - MAR 14, 2017
Aroma is tart, caramel and citrus. Taste is light sweet malts, honey, caramel and clove. Nice balance between the grains and hops. Finishes smoothly. Appearance is a clear brown with a thin pearl head that retains somewhat poorly.

Sweet note but with enough booze to give it a nice combination. I could fast with a case of this by my side. I would like a little more depth but an easy drinking beer.

kassner (1686) - Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 27, 2017
On tap at whole foods in wexford. Light cola color, no head and little lacing. But great taste without an oberburdon of sweetness. Much like Bifrost.

JPDIPSO (6262) - Wauwatosa, USA - DEC 31, 2016
Dark copper color with a tallish light tan head. Aromas of light grain, licorice and floral hops. Sweet start, with pale malt, light fruit and floral undertone. It’s growing on me, but it’s taking some time. A good malt liquor, with a little bit more malt flavor. The floral hops continue to throw me off. A decent beer, but not a great DB. 1/14
